Cathy Hackl Bio:

Cathy is a renowned speaker and expert in the immersive industry. NBC News named Hackl as one of the top Latina women working in VR.  She is currently lead futurist at You Are Here Labs, a founding member of the VR/AR Association. Previously, Hackl worked with HTC - helping to launch the company's Vive Pro VR headset. In the past, she worked as chief communications officer for Future Lighthouse, one of the world’s leading cinematic VR studios and was also selected as an Oculus Launchpad fellow in 2017. Hackl also counseled UPS as a VR expert during the launch of the VR driving training program. Prior to joining the VR/AR industry, Hackl, an Emmy nominated communicator, worked in marketing and public relations, as well as with media outlets like CNN, ABC News and Discovery Communications.
