The VR/AR Association London is hosting a special two-panel event on AR/VR in design, architecture and real estate, plus investment in XR.
Co-hosted with Unit9 and Poplar
The VR/AR Association London is excited to be hosting a new event, this time focusing on the use of AR and VR in design, architecture and real estate. We will hear from top agency Unit9 on their latest VR design tool, Darabase on the way they offer to monetise virtual real estate assets, and from Pauley on their pioneering use of AR for Crossrail London.
And it's a double bill! We'll also be covering the state of XR investment. After the initial hype in 2016-17, overall VC appetite for VR/AR has cooled significantly in 2018-2019. With the arrival of 5G, new VR/AR headsets coming to the consumer market and early signs of immersive success in the Enterprise, does this mean better times ahead for founders of AR/VR startups looking to raise money? We invited VC and angel investors to share with the audience their first-hand experiences of the investment landscape through 2020. Where is the money and what opportunities are they looking for?
Agenda:
6:30pm - 7:00pm: Networking drinks
7:00pm - 7:30pm: Panel on AR and VR in design, architecture and real estate (with Dominic Collins from Darabase, Yates Buckley from Unit 9 and Sharon Huckstep from Pauley)
