Orange County VRARA member, Contrast Reality is excited to share a free mixed-reality Halloween experience

Orange County VRARA member, Contrast Reality is excited to share a

free mixed-reality Halloween experience available exclusively on the Apple Vision Pro.

The experience is available in their new free app, Immersion Spatial Experiences

available to download in the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/immersion-

spatial-experiences/id6701992961).

The Halloween experience, named Snatcher’s Revenge, uses the new object tracking

APIs available in visionOS 2 to detect a candy bar in your hand and show a virtual

replica of it. The mini-experience allows for two modes of interaction, trick or treat – with

trick, using hand tracking and gestures, and treat, using object tracking of a small

number of candy bars. In treat mode, when the user brings the candy bar near the

virtual character, the virtual character attempts to steal the candy bar from the user’s

hands.

The Halloween experience showcases the possibilities XR has for brands to create

immersive, interactive content to drive engagement. More information about the

experience can be found on Contrast Reality’s page
